My most passionate project yet: A Lightweight Portable Sensor for Mobile ECG Monitoring with Machine Learning-Based Abnormality Detection.

In August 2023, I joined the Medical Photonics Lab at International University, VNU - HCM, in Ho Chi Minh City, embarking on a project inspired by my own health journey. My focus has been developing a lightweight, portable ECG sensor designed for real-time heart monitoring. Built on an Arduino platform, this device is equipped with machine-learning algorithms that detect abnormalities in heart rhythms, making it an accessible tool for patients who may not have easy access to healthcare facilities.

The project recently took me to the Healthcare Evolution Conference, where I presented this innovation to industry professionals. It was rewarding to see the positive reception and interest from the healthcare community, reinforcing the potential impact this technology could have on patient care, especially in resource-limited settings. This experience has been a step toward my goal of blending biomedical engineering and accessibility, bringing meaningful solutions to those who need them most.
