My Role in an AI-Powered Web Aggregation Project

Since June 2023, I've been working as a Research Assistant at HUFLIT University, focused on an AI-driven tool that aggregates the latest cybersecurity threats. The goal has been to create a reliable and efficient system that detects and classifies potential threats from internet data, helping organizations protect their digital assets and user data.

My role has involved debugging and applying machine learning techniques in data classification, filtering, and standardization. Through data crawling and analysis, the tool can quickly identify emerging cybersecurity issues, enabling timely alerts. Recently, this tool was adopted as a secondary notification system by the Department of Informatics at a local bank, supporting their staff with up-to-date threat information and reinforcing their digital defenses.

This project has deepened my understanding of the impact AI can have in cybersecurity, showing how proactive detection and response tools can enhance data safety in our increasingly digital world.
